Hello,
I am so happy I found a site that makes “honest to goodness” corset gowns for brides instead of ones that merely look like corsets and are not functional. What I desire is an under the bust corset in a longline version as I am long waisted. I have pictures but there is no place to attach them in the template. The pictures that I am attaching will help you understand the look that I am trying to achieve. I want a two piece wedding dress. The top is a corset (in duponi silk) and the skirt will be a trumpet style in duponi silk with an english lace net overlay. No train. Picture #1 shows the top part of the bodice that I want with vertical pleating and an empire waist. I want a square neckline with 3/4/ lace attached sleeves as in photo #2. Photo #2 also shows the type of runching that I would like to the hip. The back I want to keep simple. I have a rather broad back, square athletic shoulders, a 30″ waist and narrow hips. I am trying to create more of a waist with the corset. Although the square shoulders are a plus, and I would like to draw attention to them, I do not want to draw attention to my back. Lace from the 3/4 sleeves should cover the top part of the back above my shoulder blades. Picture #4 shows the color of the fabric. This is my second wedding and I am not a “white wedding” gown type of person, (did that 20 years ago).
Let me know if you can create something like this for me, and the approximate cost.
Regards,
Shawna
